This semester in Professional Practice for Interior Designers helped me understand the realities of working as an interior designer beyond the studio. Through each assignment, I learned how design connects to contracts, budgets, timelines, client communication, and the business side of our profession. Creating my ePortfolio also pushed me to organize my work more intentionally, refine my visual presentation skills, and communicate who I am as a designer with clarity and confidence. Overall, this course gave me a stronger foundation for approaching real-world projects, understanding professional expectations, and preparing for my transition into the industry.
